89. 1º Y 2º ESO. WELLCOME TO OUR CONTEST. " draw a LOGO for our MODEL UNITED NATIONS which will held from 19 to 22 March. Who will be the winner? we have 44 participants. !

The first example has been drawn by an student from our school who has just participated in a previous external contest.

Logotype has been drawn by Elena Pasamontes 4º ESO for the Contest EOI Torrejón 2018.

Take a look to the instructions and examples below and create your own logo for our next model united nations.. These examples should be inspirational for you..

        I. COLOR and GEOMETRY. 

You should take into account  color is an important issue and also using a geometrical shape

Try to include the letter which represents the company inside a triangle, square or a circunference.

As for the way to do it could be done on the computer ( inkscape app for instance) or using tangency which our teacher usually explains in class.




II. LET YOUR IMAGINATION FLY AND CREATE A MATERPIECE!


How to create a logo?. Here you have some ideas whic could be inspirational for you:

a) The basic geometrical shape ( circle, square and triangle) should be the starting point.

b) Divide this shape into equal parts according to the examples we show below..

c) You could include either a letter or a number.

d) Use tangency if your teacher has explained it in class (it´s part of the sylabus in  2º ESO). 

e) Use simple ideas to represent the content of the argument. 

  III. THE CURRENT  TOPICS/ COMMITTES .  

-Segurity council* ( conflict chinese sea)
-Technological Ethics*( cloning, euthanasia, robotic vehicles)
-HIstoric Segurity Council* ( Yugoslavia conflicts and cuban missile crisis).
-Politics* ( rebirth of the extreme ideologies).
-Droits dE femme* (  women rights. about legalisation of prostitution and surrogacy)
- Environmental Committee ( Massive plastic in the oceam)
-Economic * ( palliative measures to face the crisis).
- G 8*
Human Rights ( child labour).

Here, the paticipating works.  They were inspired by the chose committe. For the time being we have 44 masterpieces. Over the next week, the jury will deliberate which ones are the best works to represent their committes.
During the next Thursday meeting the jury will make the final decision.
