  3. Hi everyone!I´m a Yolanda´s former technical drawing student. I left IES Marqués de Suanzes three years ago and now I´m studying Industrial Engineering. I still remember the courses with your teacher and please, believe me...I know that it´s hard to keep up! But at the end you´ll see that your knowledge will be the best. I could pass Technical Drawing at university thanks to her training.

It´s simply awesome how you have shaped your ideas. You did a really good job guys. The drawing that caught my attention is...number 5!! I found it really creative and keeping the personifying of an elephant.

    1. Gracias Carlos !!!!

  40. Kylen: My favorite picture is number 11, by Berta Cano. That picture really speaks to me in a weird way I can't really explain why. I like the way that the human resembles the bird. It's special to me because it makes me think, does that human want to be a bird? Does he have the same mind as a bird? Is the human as flamboyant as a bird? It is a very attractive picture to the human eye.

  41. I really like 11 and 4, because 4 is really cool and instead of the head being an animal the whole body is the animal and not transforming into a human. It also reminds me of childhood stories, but twisted for horror and interesting stories for older people.
11 is very interesting and I think that it is supposed to be the spirit animal. It reminds me of Harry Potter and the animal that is inside all of us and if its a lion, shark, or peacock. Both of them are so amazing and well done! I hope both of you do art as a career.

I like this one because it is very different. It shows the difference between Man and Animal. Being the Lion head and the man body. I also like how much quality was put into this drawing. You can see how much time was put into this piece of art just by quickly looking at it. It was also very creative and realistic at the same time. The Lion mixed into a man and a suit looked very convincing. Overall I rate this drawing very highly.

I really enjoy how the blues and greens and purples of the bird blend so well together and how the feathers falling from the tail look like real feathers. My favorite is number three because I love the sharp contrast of colors. The blue shirt and the stark pink details in the mouth really pop against the dog's white fur. It's also funny to see a dog dressed up a businessman because when I think of my dog in an office job I wonder if he would ever get any work done or just goof off. It's most likely the latter. All of these entries are beautiful and you all are an extremely talented group of students.

  59. Connor L Period 4 Sra. Escribano 01/02/18

Drawing number 1 depicts an anthropomorphized animal with large, pointed ears, slitted pupils with pale yellow irises, fangs, a protruding snout, and a long, prehensile tail. The animal (I regret I am at a loss for its origin, it reminds me of a naked mole rat but last I checked, those don't have prehensile tails) is wearing a red, collared shirt with a long white tie, blue jeans, and yellow shoes with black laces, and they are holding an axe. They are depicted within a number of trees, with the implication being that they are a lumberjack. (One hopes that their tail is prehensile enough to avoid getting chopped off by a bad swing.) They are glancing at the proverbial camera with a 45 degree turn of their head, eyelid lowered just enough to convey a sense of annoyance. Perhaps they have been doing this for a number of hours already, and are waiting for their paycheck.

  62. Hello, I'm an American student taking Spanish 2. All of these pieces are so creative and interesting that it took me a while to decide which one to vote for. In the end I decided that #13 by Giovanne Encabo was my favorite. While the gorilla in the picture isn't walking on two legs as stated in the prompt, you can tell from a glance that it has human emotions and intelligence, and most likely is bipedal, like a human. #13 caught my eye because the gorilla seems to tell a story while simultaneously making you ask questions: Where is the gorilla? How did he loose his arm and get a cyborg limb as a replacement? What or who is he looking at? What happened to his eye? I hope you all continue to create unique and thought-provoking pieces like this in the future.

  63. Uff... How difficult!
How to choose one? I would vote for everyone for different reasons.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mayca De Antonio. I met Yolanda during a school trip to Malta where I had the pleasure to guide her and her students. And there was immediate connection. It was a cultural trip in English with no bilingual students! Not the easiest of the weeks :) but the trip worked fantastically, Students participated and elaborated interesting theories about the megalithism in Malta. Yolanda seem to be the energetic center for every activity, even when it was time to wind off relaxing on a beach with the most amazing blue waters

I am loosing track.... I will vote for Diana Cimino. I like the game of being humans and something wilder or animals with characteristics we usually relate to humans.

Anyway, well done to all of you!
