Welcome to our blog. This blog exists to create a space where our Secondary School students, in Spain and the USA, can connect across the world by exchanging ideas and sharing images of their art. 84. 4º ESO. SIMPLIFYING SHAPES I. We depict our favorite FAMOUS singer or actor with just 5 coloured cardboards. What do you like most?.
Look at the example on your left and come up with new great ideas...
Don´t worry! You´ll have to submit this task when you are prepared to decorate your folder.
All you have to know is how to simplify the main shapes included the shadows.
Then, you´ll show off!!!
Bellow, we show the other students´artwork ...
83. 2º ESO. COMBINING TEXTURES AND NETS.
welcome to your tasks related to nets and textures. In this case, you should be able to depict an animal which your teacher hands you and decorate it with visual and tactile textures.
Let´s take a look at the example below.
Now, our class has to be decorated with our pieces of work. Doesnt it??

Let´s take a look at the example below.

81. 1º ESO. welcome to :" my imaginary net". It was based on plane movements which we learned in math and now, we practice in visual art.
We have just learned to manage with traslation and symmetry of a pattern which we had conceived. . We have learned to use symmetry axis and how to traslate a pattern before .. we also consider ROTATION as the triky ones in terms of nets. This part of the content is just practice in our subject because is explained by their mathematic teacher in fourth course of ESO. They are not mature enough to understand that content according to the sylabus in this level. That´s why, we haven´t been working on that for long time. We went for the practice and we engaged in activities which is important for our content.
In our subject, the only important thing is how to identify each movement on natural shapes and artificial shapes. How to identify the symmetrial figures on anywhere.
The success for the education is to adapt the level of the topic to the level of the student. That´s the reason why each student have to work in a defferentiated manner.
Below we show the task they´ll have to submit by the end of the week. Indeed rotation is not compulsory to apply in this pactice.
Let go with these examples from former students in the same level as them.

FRISO. DANIELA SANZ 2º A ESO Rotation is the plane movement that she used on that.

MATIAS ANTON. 2º A ESO Traslation is the plane movemoent used in this case.

NATALIA NARAKELOVA 2º A ESO She combined different modules to lay out this piece of artwork. The colors are pleasant and the way she worked is complex. She deserves to win the contest. Isn´t she??
